Guidelines for Mailing Applications
To mail a non-EASi Application, the application should be mailed to TAIPA's post office box address, which is listed on the top of the application for insurance. Be sure to include the following:
- 2 copies of the application
- Down payment, payable to the Texas Automobile Insurance Plan Association. The payment must be in the form of the producer's check, applicant's check, certified check, money order, cashier's check or premium finance check.
- Filing Fee, if required, for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). This must be a separate check or money order from the down payment, and should be made payable to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Include the fee only if you want TAIPA to file the SR-22 with the DPS
- The company copy (green) of the E.S.P. binder form, if the application was electronically bound
